Excalibur Hotel and Casino

Vegas Baby! Or rather, Vegas, Baby!
We went ahead and reserved two nights in the Excalibur. It seemed like the right thing to do, to get the full Vegas cheesy experience.

Excalibur hotel

The Excalibur, like most every other hotel & casino in Vegas, is owned by MGM and has over 3000 rooms. Ours was standard, a little larger than expected, but no microwave or fridge. ;-/

There’s also no free breakfast included. So you basically have to eat breakfast at the fast-food restaurants at the casino’s food court.¬†We wanted McDonald’s for breakfast, but they closed down three weeks ago. :-{

overpriced foodSo we hobbled together a biscuit and grits from Popeye’s and a peanut butter and banana crunch flatbread wrap and mango and pineapple smoothie from Tropical Smoothie.

All ridiculously overpriced, but tasty, as expected.
