We just love Himalayan/Nepali cuisine, because it combines wonderful elements of Chinese and Nepalese food, not quite as spicy as Indian, overall. The owners have relocated from their original location on Chatham Street in Cary to Reedy Creek Plaza. The new restaurant is a little bit larger and a little bit nicer, with comfy booths and quiet atmosphere. We were really happy to find that the food is just as delicious as it was before!
Veggie Pakora – Chickpea flour-dipped mixed vegetables; a great way to start a meal.
Himalayan Dal Fry and Bindhi Masala, cooked just right.
Unfortunately, they were out of our favorite Onion Kulcha today, so the waiter recommended Poori, instead.
While not nearly as good as their kulcha, the poori was OK, but we’re not big fans in general. Poori is a little too bland and oily for us, and not a great value at $3.50 for two pieces.
It is always fun and satisfying to eat at Himalayan Range; we highly recommend it!
