After a fair amount of searching, we have finally found a decent Mexican restaurant in Colorado Springs.
The entrees are a good standard size. You won’t leave hungry.
We got the Taco Salad and Vegetarian Torito.
The salsa and the vegan chili is a smidge spicy-hot, but it doesn’t build up, so is tolerable.
Prices are fair, but not as cheap as one might expect for Mex food…
We visited José Muldoon’s again and the margaritas are still good. (Although not as great without Happy Hour discounts…) 😉
The Vegetarian Enchiladas were good, although every dish still seems a bit more spicy hot than desired. The cilantro-lime rice and black beans are a nice side.
The Chile Relleno is two large Anaheim peppers battered and fried nice and crisp. The Vegan Green Chile was a little too spicy this time though.
Our latest visit included two sangrias.
Tasty, but not made with fresh fruit. We’ll stick to margaritas in the future.
